    Hi all,

Just picked up this lappy with 8800m sli and testing the performance. ATM Ive run 3dmark06 and get 10700 approx so seems in line with others with 2.4ghz processors. I recently installend aliens vs predar 2 however and get appaling frame rates , fron 20fps to 60(looking at the floor) avg 30 at resolution of 1280/1024. Ive tried bisohock and that gets me higer fps (70 avg)!!

Ive used stoch drivers, l2vgo drivers enabled sli, used the different modes eg single alt frames ect but no luck.

Just wanted to know if someones tried the game out on theirs or if someone could try the demo as im not sure if it is simply my settings or the game simply doesnt work well with these laptops.

    Cheers

this might sound silly, but have you tried playing it with SLi disabled?

older games don't seem to play well with it, and in many cases having SLi on will reduce performance.
