Yes. CPU does play a role in 3DMark scores.

Bottom Line: 3DMark score is just a number. If you are happy with your system performance in while playing your favorite game - its no big deal. :)

    I saw AlienContact's M1730 specs is
    T9300 2.5ghz@800mhz
    4gb Ram
    500gb hd
    Dual SLI 512mb 9800GT
    Intel 965
    Vista 64
    SM2.0 score: 5041
    HDR/SM3.0: 6030
    CPU Score: 2183
    Total: 11329

the only difference between his system and mines is CPU which is T9300 vs T8300, but the mark is nearly 1000 more than mine. Is it because the CPU makes this big difference? Well, actually I am not really care the number of 3dmark, but just want to know my system score is normal or not. :) Thanks.

Your score is fine - you will also find that NVIDIA drivers will impact your score. Some increase your score slightly while others tank it. Overclocking the GPU will also increase your score as well - wouldn't suggest doing it.

When the time comes, you can always upgrade your CPU. I would suggest the T9300 or X9000. The T9500 and T9300 are quite close in performance and the T9300 is a bit cheaper.

The only CPUs which you will be able to OC are the X7900 or X9000 (via the BIOS). There is no software solution to OCing any of the other CPUs with the M1730.
