    Hi all

i hope you can help, as i am pulling my hair out here....

Yesterday i received my M1730 with dual 8700m SLI 256mb cards. it was preconfigured with Vista Home Premium. when i looked in device manager i had two entries for display adaptors which was great.

however i wanted to put vista ultimate on it as i had a licence for it and thought it would be ok to use. I reformated and repartitioned the RAID 0 2 x 160GB hds. i installed ultimate fine, i then downloaded the stock 8700m drivers from the dell website. however after installing these driver Vista now only sees the one graphics card, it can't see the second one.

i have looked in the Nvidia control panel to see if i have to turn SLI on before vista sees the second card, but i can't see anything, i can't even see a SLI option. i also looked in the bios and can't see anything in there also.

Am i missing something, an option maybe, or could this be a hardware fault?

Anyhelp would be great, i am going crazy here worrying what i did to break it... :(
