"AS of late, whesentence.seem to jump and mix within the n i type, the letters "

A perfect example of what i am going to ask, just happened above^^^^^

When i begin to type, the letters skip and jump within the sentence. or the word would just swallow up and disappear. Also, as i type, the windows start menu sometimes jumps up. My picasso pictures would boot up.. or a myriad of other screens would randomly jump up...

It is so annoying! What is the cause, and how do i stop it! thank you guys in advance!

I have tried uninstalling the keyboard drivers in the device manager. I use a mouse,,,but even went as far as uninstalling and reinstalling the fingerpad program and drivers...to no avail.

if your computer is under warranty, ask dell to send you a different keyboard. If you're out of warranty, send me PM as I have a few M1530 keyboards available, $25 shipped.

You can also check e-bay for keyboards. I recommend the black Vostro 1400 keyboard which is compatible. It is a better feeling, no-flex keyboard.

You may want to check that the keyboard cable is properly seated before buying, though.

Do a search on how to remove the keyboard (service manual) and check first.
