since i installed windows XP on my M1530 i got some serious heat issues with my laptop.
    speedfan is indicating idle:
    core1: 60°c
    core2: 60°C
    GPU: 70°C

I Did however install all drivers as described in the manual on the forum. Before format temp were normal.
Is anyone experiencing same things or has suggetions how to solve this?

I had the standard Vista home setup before indeed. I didn't time it exactly but it took quite some minutes before booted. (That's one of the reasons I switched to XP.) Noise was just a fan, nothing special.

I just started monitoring since XP. But when when just jusing some office applications and FF before I didn't notice hight temperatures in the enviroment of the touchpad while now this is absolutely the case.
