    HI,

my 4years old XPS M1530 have a problem. The screen is completely blank, cant see even the BIOS.
I was in the meaning it is graphic, but I have connected it to external monitor and everything works fine.
I had run DELL Diagnostic - it had shoved Error code 0321, LCD EDID - unable to access EDID EEPROM

If I am right - the nVidia is fine - correct me if I am wrong
So the problelm must be in LCD cable or LCD itself, RIGHT ?

This machine had already changed DVD and LCD in the past. Wont buy DELL again.

Try re-seating the display cable? It sounds like the motherboard just can't detect the screen, but it's hard to tell if it's a cable or screen failure.

Usually I'd say it's a backlight or inverter issue, but the error code seems to suggest otherwise...

^^ I second that; my display went out a couple of months ago, and it was just the LCD cable needed to be reseated. I think the cable worked its way loose after so many openings and closings of the computer.

No no, don't spend the money on the new cable yet, just open up your computer, and re-seat the existing cable.

(I actually just had to do this literally 30 minutes ago. My backlight went out again, and I reseated the display cable, put some electrical tape on it to prevent it from coming loose again, and everything is working perfectly again.)
