Hi, I have my laptop less than a year ago and had no problem with the temperature, it was idling at 50 and peak was at 70-72. Now about a month ago it started getting hotter, it started idling at 75 and the peak was at 98. I dont know whats the problem, I mean it started getting hotter when summer started, but how could it affect so much the temps of the pc. And the fan is always running now, even if its not being used. It kept like that, but one day on summer it was cold and the temps normalized (at least the fan didnt sound to loud). I didnt think the temp had to do with ambience temp but now I dont know, how can it get so hot, summer temp is about 27 average, and nonsummer about 20 (when I had no problems), are those 7 degrees afecting so much on the laptop?

Try cleaning the cooling fan and exhaust vents.
You can remove the bottom panel of the laptop to access the fan.
The exhaust vent is on the back left-hand side of the laptop, if it's clogged with dust it won't be able to remove heat so efficiently.
When you remove the bottom panel, keep an eye on the little plastic/rubber washers on the screw holes.
Also, make sure you're using the most recent bios, from Dells website. Because if you ring Dell with the problem, that's the first thing they'll suggest..
