    Hey,

New M1530 today, installed Vista on it, downloaded all the drivers and such - Just can't seem to get the remote working.

I've tried it inside of MediaDirect and Media Centre, yet it doesn't seem to be doing a thing. /Does QuickSet need to be installed for it, or am I missing something else

Yes, you need quickset to get the remote working.

Or the battery is gone. That's what happened to me w/ a brand new remote. ;)

Open your cellular camera and point the remote to it. If a light shows when you press any button then it's ok. If not, you need a new battery.
