    Hey guys, I am having some weird issues with my M1530 that I want to see if you know what they are before I chat with Dell. First of all, I will randomly get a loud beep coming from my laptop, when the sound is off, probably coming from the mobo speaker. I also have randomly been getting clicking sound I am guessing is coming from my hard drive. Nothing has been going wrong in the computer, except for the fact that it might have been running slower lately. What do you think could be the issue? I think they are related. Also, if it is the hard drive, do you think that Dell would just send me the hard drive and let me replace it, or would they make a tech come out. Thanks for any help.

    try running chkdsk if you think its your hard drive

    i think they would probably just send you a hard drive though, if they think its a HD error that is. Not like they can send a technician to come fix a HD anyways.

    Ill do that.

    I didnt know if they would send a guy to replace it. It would be a waste though since I can do it.
