If i place my bare arm on the front side of the laptop (front side meaning side with the touchpad) and my fingers arent touchign any of the keys, i get small shocks, that just give you a tiny sting. Im sure they aren't lethal but they are pretty annoying, is anyone else having the same problem?

I was also shocked by my ipod shuffle ( it was connected into my xps )

Just wondering, is anyone else experiencing this?

First you should search the forum since there's a billion posts on this topic. Use the search results to know what to say when you contact Dell.

Hey contact XPS Support and have them send you a special three pronged AC adapter, that may take care of the problem. ;)

Here is an excellent thread that Scooberdoober did on the whole *shock* issue. Be sure to check it! ;) :)

I had the shock issue, when I first received my 1530, for about a week..Then, it simply went away, and I didn't need to contact Dell! ;) :)

Good luck to you, and let us know what happened! ;)

    Cin ;) :)
