    how do i reset the fingerprint?
    my dad tested the fingerprint thinggy and forgot the password. now, he's on vacation, and i cannot open the fingerprint control panel.

    is there a way to reset?

    You will need the password as far as I know.

    If you re-format the laptop it should reset it if you chose to store fingerprints using a software key, but I *THINK* if you chose to use a hardware key (This allows a max of 21 store prints) then it might not work for you...

    i dont really know how fingerprint works but i think it should have at least a password to enter... if so u can use CIA Commander... its an utility that boots up and let u change the password.
