I got a refurbished M1330 for my dad today. It came with Windows Vista, and I imaged it with a copy of his Windows 7 system.

The wifi was working fine on Windows Vista.

After updating to 7, the wireless adapter gets installed, but I cannot enable it.

If I try to enable it, I get the "Enabling..." window, and then it says "Enabled!", but the adapter remains disabled.

    Any suggestions?

    Edit:
I've now tried three different drivers, to no change in result.

    Edit 2:
Just ran the diagnostics built into the mainboard, and I was greeted with a message saying the wireless card was not detected, giving error code 2000-0411. I'm gonna let the diagnostics finish (why not?), and open up the system and check the network cards.

Did you get the latest driver? Also do you know which wifi card it was?

I tried the latest Dell driver and the latest driver that Windows Update found.

The error that the diagnostics gives me is enough that we're gonna bring it back to where we got it on Monday and have them take a look, since they provide a limited warranty.
