    Guys

I am planning to upgrade the current 250 GB hard drive to a OCZ 30GB SSD drive...

Is the m1330 compatible with this hard drive

Upgrading shouldn't be an issue, though have you taken into consideration the size?

Vista is pretty heavy on storage just for itself - you'd have very little space left from a 30 gig drive.
Hence I assume you're using xp or linux?

thanks for the answer..... planning on using the 32 GB drive for OS & some software

may consider the 64GB but it is quite expensive...

Well in my humble opinion you shouldnt "upgrade" to a 32gb SSD UNLESS it is a SLC memory based one.

You know... Im thinking in getting rid of my 64gb one... Why? because it is not enough storage, it slows down sometimes(virus scans), but indeed its ultra fast for regular activities, and I got like 45min-1.1hours more of battery :D.

I'm happy with the 64gb SSD. I dump non-essential data (family photos, etc) into an external hard drive as necessary. The SSD is lightning-fast when installing applications, copying from another drive, and so on. It's also silent, and I enjoy not having to hear the whine of a normal HD.
