I bought the highest warranty when I bought the XPS M1330, complete care warranty ends Oct 2011.

This is the 5th time I've sent the laptop in for the videocard dieing and horizontal lines. It died again, I contacted Dell again to set up another service call to ship my laptop into the demo. I was told that it has happened to many times and I will be contacted by the replacement team to send me a replacement.

Dell doesn't have the M1330 anymore or anything 13.3'' and SEXY. What is Dell going to replace this laptop with?

    Alienware 14x ?

Most likely a Studio 14 or some 13" Vostro...

Vostro and Studio are Step downs from XPS.

I can't even find Studio on dell's website anymore.
and Vostro has no videocard "Integrated IntelĀ® Graphics Media Accelerator"

Inspiron says you can get a videocard but you can't customize and add it.
    http://www.dell.com/ca/p/inspiron-14r/pd

Which leaves for Alienware 11x and 14x

You can get a HD 6470 in the Vostro 3350 and the HD 6630 in the 3450. Other than the low resolution display, the Vostro is actually a better package than your old XPS 1330. The X14m is a big step up in CPU and GPU power and has a nice optional display. It is huge however, compared to your XPS 13 and a lot heavier.

The Sony SB is an option but the SB had only an HD display. The SA, slated for June release will add an HD+ display and will be worth a look.

The Vostro 3350 isn't bad but I still think the M1330 is a winner. It looks sexy with a nice brush aluminum finish.

    M1330 vs Vostro 3350

Width 12.5 in vs 12.96 in
Depth 9.4 in vs 9.0 in
Height 1.3 in vs 1.07-1.17 in
    Weight 4.0lbs vs 4.5 lbs

    "kaka" resolution 1366x768

But your right, Bronsky this is the closest to my M1330 that dell has on its line up. I'll shoot for an Alienware M14x if that fails I'll go for the Vostro.

What sucks with the Alienware is they spec an i5 core but you can't pick it. I've even tried to call and they said its not available?!? its on the spec sheet.
I5 35Watts vs I7 45Watts and none of the applications I have utilize quad core so they will run slower and draw more power.
