Hi all, I've searched, googled and came down between the 2. I've got the T2300 and would like to extend the life of my laptop. I've already added 4Gb of HyperX RAM and a WD 320GB HDD.

I primarily use my M1210 to surf, play a few games and occasionally use Photoshop, Cool Edit Pro and Windows Movie Maker.

Is an upgrade worth it, if so which one?

For what you are doing, an upgrade would be nice. Depending on your budget, take a look at the T7700.

Will the T7700 fit/work? There is another thread that stated that the T7600 is the fastest I could install.

I'd rather spend an extra $100 at NewEgg for a better proc than what I can find on eBay.

I thought the T7700 should work, but I may be wrong. Do you know what chipset you have because the T7600 could be the max?

t7600 was always ridiculously priced. try the t7200 if you can't find a decently priced t7600.
