    Hi Folks,

I have an aging m1530 laptop that I just replaced the palmrest on due to wear. The laptop works fine apart from two issues, I hope someone with teardown experience can help me?

When I close the lid and re-open it after the replacment the mouse cursor slows to a crawl and I have to reboot.

I broke the zif connector tab for the i/o panel when removing the cable and the audio i/o buttons now only work intermittently.

    So my question is:

    1) I am going to remove and repalce the palmrest again, what should I watch out for when alligning it?

    2) Can I purchase the plastic peice for the zif conector anywhere to hold the cable in place or is their another solution

Thanks in advance, advice is really appreciated :)
