    Hey,

Firstly, I know this is my first post, but I’ve read lots here before buying my laptop and got lots of useful information, so thankyou.
    I brought a Dell xps 16.
My first question is - At the moment I have the drivers it came preinstalled with. Are there drivers from ATI site or even Dell that I should upgrade to for better performance? i.e. graphics driver.
Secondly. I've been thinking about buying a laptop cooling pad. I've not been experiencing any problems with it over heating, sure it does get warm, but nothing out the ordinary. I would still like to buy a cooling pad for it though, just to be on the safe side when I’m running a demanding application on the laptop.
I've been looking at this one

It seems to have good reviews so I imagine it must be fairly good. Does anyone know if it will work well on the xps 16 ? The laptop is a little bigger than the cooling pad so I’m not sure if that would cause a problem, also I’ve read it's important that on these cooling pads that the fans are in the right position. If this one isn’t a good idea for my laptop could anyone recommend one to me.
    Thanks very much.

    1) Upgrading drivers can lead to better performance or fixes, there is a reason why they update them

    2) I recommend you read the notebook cooler buyers guide (link in sig)
