Hi guys i recently had a problem with my brand new XPS M1340. Whenever I am playing an audio or video on wmp or mpc and at the same time open a web page or begin a download the audio began to stutter badly. I thought this was either a network issue or an audio card issue and tried in vain to find a solution. Although several ppl seemed to have the same problem, none of their fixes seemed to solve my problem. Finally after a couple of hours of searching i figured out the problem. It is neither with the sound nor the network card. The problem is with a feature of Intel processors called "Intel Speed Step". So disabling Intel speed step and intel dynamic acceleration in the bios fixed the problem for me 100%. Ofcourse this could mean sacrificing some battery life but you have to make a choice. Just thought this might be useful to someone who is having similar issues.
