    EDIT

These Dell drivers installed fine and so far there have been no flashes.

So we've all heard this one before, I get occasional screen flashes when on battery power. They usually come in bursts of two. No problems when on AC.
I'm on battery now and I've only had two just after start-up so it's not a huge problem for me but it is an issue.

Some have suggested turning off 'Power Saving Management' in the Intel control panel but this does not help. Apparently, the issue seems to lie with the latest Intel drivers and the solution is to roll back to the Dell drivers, only trouble is my machine refuses to install ANY Dell video drivers, I always get the incompatible system bull.

Anyone know of a solution to force the Dell driver installation or is there are way of swapping/configuring files to get the Dell ones working?

    Thanks
