This may be a little early, since we are all still waiting on our systems to arrive, but I wanted to get a jump on what people are finding when they do their clean installs.

So please post the necessary drivers and other software links like the soundblaster xfi download locations. As well as any issues you come accross that will help out the weekend techies like myself.

FWIW I already did a fresh install on my L502X and the computer came with a disc that had almost all the drivers (other than the touch pad for some reason)

You can find all drivers for L702X on Dell.com.
They are online from 8 Mar.

How can you do a clean install with these systems? My understanding was that it forces the damn bloatware no matter what.

Sweet! My old machine did as well. Although I recall a lot of them being upgradable, or not recomended. I seem to recall it being preferable to use Nvidia's driver from their site rather than the dell version, but I beleive they don't allow that anymore.

In anycase, any driver issues, like the touchpad, would be a great help. I have already grabbed the drivers from the site, but it didn't seem like they were all there yet.

I also want to recover the soundblaster xfi. Should that be available on the system disk they give you?
