    It is possible to change/upgrade from 1gb Gt5550M to 3gb GT555M?

I've had a good look on this forum...but no question as this posted I can find.

The reason is I have just purchased a 2630QM from Dell Outlet and it only has the GT550M and I would like to use this for Adobe Photoshop, and guess the GT555M will be far better?

The GPU is soldered onto the motherboard, you would have to upgrade your motherboard to do the changes.

the benchmarks of the 550m and 555m are very similar, I don't think it would make any difference really. But it wouldn't be easily done.

Ouch, soldered. I was thinking of doing the same thing to keep the price down and upgrade later. Good thing I didn't

Can you send a outlet computer back and wait? Is it worth your time?

I was having the impression that the L702X comes with an MXM but obviously not... Luckily I have a GT555M. Well, the GT560M will be released quite soon...
