I am curious what other owners are experiencing. So after bootup how many processes do you have running? Of course I realize this varies depending on how much extra stuff you decided to install or not remove. Still I am interested to see what you have in terms of the numbers.

So fewest processes look like they are after a fresh install. I'll have to confirm once mine arrives and I reformat.

Always go with a fresh install.. At least IMHO! I want my PC set up exactly the way I want.. no extra bloat required!

I've just removed the crap instead of re-formatting the HD. I use the Resource Monitor to see if any other crap is left running and so far it looks good.

Just a tip for anyone that doesn't want to do a fresh install. There is a program called "pcdecrapifier" that works wonders on new computers. It will completely remove any and all programs you want in one full sweep. Just tell it what you want removed and it will do all the work for you.

Getting ready to format and reinstall windows on the new system. I'll check a before and after process count. I'm sure bloatware out the box will be a significant factor.
