The chassis appear to be the same, so I was hoping the invisible shield would work on older L501x I have. I'm assuming it would, but I was wondering if anyone else had tried.

Has anyone ever used invisible shield for their laptop before? I have used it on my phone and ipod, and it worked well except for the screen which lost sensitivity. I could see it possibly hindering cooling since the palm rest can get warm. Although if that were the case I would likely get a protector for the back of the screen since that is the most vulnerable to scratches daily.
