    Hey everybody,

To sum up my issue, I threw away my original display cord for my screen and I didn't get its part number, that was obviously very stupid of me. Since then ive been researching cables to find the right one, and Ive bought 3 different display cables and all of them result in a green or white screen. At this point I don't know if its the display, the cord, or the GPU. If you guys could take a look at it and or recommended me a cable I would really really appreciate it.

Looks like damaged pins on either the motherboard, or display end. If you've swapped 3 cables already, you know it's not a cable issue.

There isn't any visible damage on the motherboard, but I can't see the screen's pins so its very possible. Although I forgot to mention that I didnt get the part number on the original before I chucked it, so the three cords I used, I'm unsure if any were the right one

Just because you can't see the damage, doesn't mean that there isn't damage.

I can almost guarantee that the problem is bent pins at this point. If it was anything else (wrong cable, defective panel or motherboard, etc), then an image would refuse to show at all. Having a properly-displaying image with some kind of tint or regular line pattern is a dead giveaway of bent pins.

You're probably right, but I must disagree with you, for the sake of other people finding this thread. I have 2 different display cords for 2 different models, both display an image, although they're both wrong of course. Anyways, I'm trying one more cord haha, after that I'll try a new screen. Thanks for the help BTW.

Well I'm back, after replacing the cord again and the motherboard, it seems to be a problem with the screen. Unfortunately I don't have another $90 to shell out so I guess I'm stuck with it for a while. Thanks for the help BTW Kent, seems you were right.
