I'm looking for my next laptop, and as a programmer the keyboard is very important. I own a 13" VAIO SA and find it very easy to type, I feel for a laptop it's key travel and response is great. I have a 15" Macbook Pro for work which I absolutely can't stand at all as the keys feel very shallow. Does anybody here have any experience comparing the XPS laptop keys to a VAIO SA and Macbook Pro?

The Dell XPS 13 keyboard is better than a VAIO SA keyboard.

I have a VAIO SA laptop. The keyboard seemed fine at the time. But compared to a Dell XPS 13, it's no question... Dell XPS 13 has the superior keyboard by far. It's probably the best keyboard I can recall using on a laptop.

Review sites also rate the XPS 13 keyboard very highly, in the same league as Thinkpad keyboards.

That's excellent, I'm assuming that the XPS 15 has the same or a similar keyboard and this has reinforced my decision of buying an XPS 15. Thanks!
