And have a few questions. I would try to use the search option but it doesn't seem to work right. Anyway, unfortunately, could not get the FHD screen with this refurb. What is the latest and greatest on upgrading the screen. Matt finish would be nice but if can't get it, I can't get it.

I tried to find the link I'm at work so it's not easy. But I know there are many threads on the subject, and it's posted all over on preorder config, and owners lounge, and alot more that say not to even get an xps15 without the b+rg 1080 screen.I have it, and its awesome, one of the best out, and I have seen some nice pcs.You can order the exact replacement screen, and there are even youtube videos on changing it.Good luck its worth every penny.

So, searching Google, I see this screen (AUO B156HW01 V.4) keep popping up. I take it that it is the 1080 screen with the matte finish that are hard to find. I also see that a HD cable (possibly 0V73D3 or V73D3) is required also. So, here are a few questions. If the matte HD is hard to come by, is the a comparable gloss HD screen? Also, where are the best place or person to purchase these parts from?

You can get any compatible 1080p screen if you don't care about having B+RGLED.

There are many made by LG and many made by AUO that will work.

You've just got to buy the FHD cable.

So is there a list of alternate screens to look for or do I have a chance to get the screen listed above? Also, where is best place to purchase cable and what is a good price? Screen?

Question about the search option on this site. Do I need to hit a certain post number before the search works correctly or is there something wrong with the search feature?
