Hey guys, just picked up an M1330 today for pretty cheap. It has the 2.2ghz t7500 and 4gb of ram. What's weird is the seller told me it had the 8400m in it, and i assumed they all came with it...but when i received it today, its not showing any graphics card other than the intel integrated one...what do u guys think?

There are two graphics options for the M1330:

One is the Nvidia 8400M GS which is plagued with overheating issues due to faulty chips.

The other is the Intel X3100 integrated graphics.

Do you want to play games on your laptop? Did you buy this model because it had dedicated graphics?

This is important because there is a contract for the sale of goods by description and there is an implied term that the goods will correspond with the description. Any remedies you wish to seek (i.e. reject the goods, etc) will depend on reliance on the said description.

Hahaha, I'm taking Business Law 211 right now and that last paragraph sounded very familiar. Prior to the purchase, I assumed that the 8500M came standard on all of the M1330's, but I did ask the seller specifically if it had it and they told me that it does have it. As far as any remedies I'm seeking, I don't want to return laptop...but maybe seek some monetary compensation.
