    Is this temp degress normal ?

    Hi,
    I Bought xps 1530 a few days ago.
    T7500
    8600gt
    2 gb ram

    idle temp. cpu > 50-60
    when play crysis > 80-84


    idle temp. gpu > 57-65
    when play crysis > 81-85


    is it normal?

    Do your fans turn on at the high temps? There was another user on here who was having a problem with their fans not turning on.

    those are pretty safe temps.

    But it can be better if you get a good notebook cooler, like Zalman ZM-NC1000.

    A XPS M1530 user just made a review of the cooler with it here:

    yeah, pretty normal i'd say. i get to around 80C when playing crysis on my T61p.

    yes fan is working better :)
    idle is continuous low fan working (is it normal?)
    when game is very high fan working
    if necessary I call dell ?(because xps very new)

    by idle u mean its doing nothing or when it isn't doing much because ur fans shud not be on when on idle. imight be wrong though
