Right now, I have 2 external monitors connected via VGA and HDMI->DVI, and when I go to the nvidia control panel to set up multiple displays, it only lets me run a combination of 2 of the 3 monitors (internal + one external or external + external).
Is there a way so that it lets me run all 3 monitors at once (internal + 2 externals)?
Thanks in advance.

USB to DVI. I've run the eVGA USB to DVI device along with the external VGA. Works fine. I did have to go to their website to get the driver for Vista x64. I think that you can run up to 6 monitors off a USB hub. The devices are $80 each though so it's an expensive solution if you want a lot of monitors.

Thanks for the responses. So, there's no driver fix/hack or software to get the video card to run all 3 displays at once? The only solution is to run the external monitors through USB to DVI/VGA hardware?

Even if there were a hack, your total outputted resolution is limited by the card's RAM. So you'd end up with, I'd guess, a 1024x768 resolution on each of the three monitors. Is it worth it?

He has at least 128 MB of RAM. 1024x768 takes up about 3 MB of RAM. There's plenty of memory for three monitors at much higher resolutions.

Run the internal and converted HDMI. The USB driven adaptor would comfortably accomodate that VGA panel with an analog quality signal and the part would subsequently be cheaper.
You can find Displaylink wizardry built into some modern, free-standing docking solutions aswell. Toshiba's 'DynaDock' springs to mind in both VGA and DVI flavours.
So if you're after a few more USB ports or would like a one cable connection to all your desktop gear (printers/scanners/cameras etc) AND benefit from the third screen on your desk, something like the DynaDock might prove a worthwhile investment.
Just a thought.
Is there a way to triple monitor? (m1530/8600m GT)
