I got mine without it, but wanted to know if there is a way to add it afterwards? And if so, how and where to purchase the internal card?

I just realized that i have accidentally added the wimax card instead of just wifi which might be delaying the shipping date. Is anyone using wimax on the XPS, if you do how is the experience (connection quality, service providers, cost etc.)

    Thanks

I used it though it was the dedicated USB and Ethernet Clear modem. Whereever I tried it it worked pretty well and price was pretty decent, $45 bucks for two 10Mbps down/1Mbps up devices. Prices have slightly risen tho, by about $10. They have tiers with low prices and speeds, I think in the $30 dollar range. Your provider for the service in the US will probably be Clear (see clear.com) to check for availablility and whatnot, service is only in limited areas but by my experience it's good where available. Sprint might be another provider but they use the same network as Clear and aren't as PC/device friendly. They like to sell their own dedicated 4G/3G USB combo device for people to use whereas Clear has support for cable modem like devices with Ethernet, USB devices, AND internal ones like the Intel WiFi/WiMAX mini PCIe combo devices.
