Ordered mine a couple of days ago but just realized that I never specifically chose "backlit" keyboard, I was given no option.

Does anybody have one without the backlight?

Will be really disappointed if it's not backlit.

Backlight comes by default in Studio XPS... You get a choice only in the Studio series.

Alright thanks that's what I thought!

It's just it says "Enjoy the optional genuine leather accents and backlit keyboard." on the info. page.

If it's a problem you can always turn it off anyway.

I would be surprised if it even makes 10 minutes of difference in battery life...
