    Hi All,

Having just put a clean install of Vista on my XPS M1530 I was hoping someone could clarify a driver issue I'm having.

I've installed the Intel Chipset Driver (V8.2.0.1014 dell download R166187) and I've installed the Intel Matrix Manager (V8.2.0.1001 direct from intel, newer version).

My question is does the 1530 require the Intel Turbo Memory driver? I see the driver is listed on the dell driver page (V1.1.0.1010) but I dont know if its required? I thought that the turbo memory thing was an additional component.

    Cheers all.

Unless you have Turbo memory installed in your notebook, which I doubt (yes it's an extra component), you do not need this extra driver.

Cheers jfdube, I thought as much.

Just finished installing drivers and my usual software suspects. Really impressed so far. So much quicker than when it arrived.

Tonight shall be the installation of the first game, shiny new copy of mass effect sitting waiting. (some overclocking and tweaking to boot also).
