    Is there a I8kfanGUI / fan control software for the xps m1530?

    i8kfan should control the fan (well atleast able to conotrl low/full speed_ for m1530... y,it doesnt work for you?

    Does not work for my 1530 either. Temps and Fan speed work, but not fan control. I don't believe anyone has it working on a 1530.

    Kinda strange how this thread hasn't really had a real answer yet.

    Unfortunately, I8KFanGUI cannot override the BIOS of the M1530 and can only be used to read the current states. So... its read only. In other words, its not really fully compatible.

    yea the xps series wasnt listen in the compatibility list either =/ guess we'll have to wait

    hmm... weird, cause i8kfan does allow me to force fans to full (XPS M1330)..... kinda weird right, thought it would work for the m1530 too...

    Considering how it hasn't been upgraded to support the XPS M1530 since 2007... it feels unlikely that there will be any updates to it, don't hold your breath.
