    How to overclock CPU in DELL 1520?

    I just wanna how can i oc my cpu coz seems that i cant find a way to do it?anyone can help me???
    And also what is the safe level of my 8600M GT OC level?

    You can try clockgen, but it may not work for laptops.

    There's no set "safe" OC level, it's going to depend on your GPU.

    You cannot OC CPU's on Dell laptops (M1710's T7600G is the only exception I know)

    Download Notebook Hardware Control (FREE). Then after you get it, on the top bar, go to Settings. Then select "Show All NHC Options and Settings". Go to "CPU Speed" on the top bar. On "CPU Speed Settings" click the drop-down box and select Max Proformance. There may be multiple options for AC and Battery power. And you'll be set. (Note: After if you do this, if your computer becomes noticably hotter and/or louder, i would recromend you put the settings back to default way you found it.)

    I have tried Riva Tuner and it doesnt work?and how should i noe whether my OC is too much????And ussually how many percent should we OC frm the factory settings??

    You need to have drivers that allow OCing. You can push it as far as you want provided it doesnt get to hot. Honestly the card will artifact (due to lack of voltage) before heat becomes an issue.

    so how am i gonna solve the voltage problem?I think its okay with me bout the heat problem coz i have a notebook cooler that helps i think...

    When I try to run notebook hardware control i get this message: ERROR! -> Could not load the NHC driver!
