    How to kill this process forever - .net optimization runtime

    Basically since i rebuilt my machine, it throttles periodically and when i check task manager and processes running there it one that when the laptop is idle is always running.

    Cant understand how to kill it, laptop win7 64bit sp1 latest updates anyone got a really each fix.

    Easy one

    Go to control pannel, Administrative Tools, Services.

    Look down the list for .NET, double click this and on the dropdown menu select disable and the click ok/apply, there should be two of these if I remember, one 32bit version and the 64bit version.
