I was wondering what is the easiest way to cancel an order with Dell? Is there any way to do this online, through chat or email?

If for some reason it ships, can I refuse shipment?

    Order details:
    Model: SXPS 16
    Order date: 1/26
Status: in 'production' with an est. of 2/12.

    Here's the deal:
I saw the Best Buy thread and decided that my order with the RGBLED, Bluetooth and 2.8ghz is simply not worth the extra $1,200 to me. The fact is I really don't 'need' those features, and after looking at the savings and hearing how good the WLED screen is, I decided I want to cancel. :D

you need to call dell customer service to cancel. anyways, Bestbuy's now offering 1640 base model for 1k compare to 1k2 base model on dell.com. This is so lame of dell, this disappointed me alot

if they've already shipped, you can refuse delivery and then they will credit you back after they receive the item back, you will lose the shipping charges though

The comparable Dell model is 1.4k. You must have forgot that the BB model has a Blu-ray drive. ;)

Correction, it is not the base model. It has p8600 and Blueray, rather than 8400 and regular DVD drive.

But yeah, you are gonna have to call and cancel.
