    How do I use laptopvideo2go drivers?

    Everyone says that I should use laptopvideo2go drivers...

    How do I do it?

    I have vista 64 with an 8600m gt in my XPS m1530.

    Thanks a lot for your help guys!

    download the drivers and the modded inf file...

    Extract the drivers and put the modded inf file you download into the extracted folder (you would get a pop up for confirmation for replacing the existing inf file).. just click yes and then install the driver like you would install any other driver, by clicking on the exe file.. or you could install from update driver from device properties, by chosing the location of your extracted folder

    You sometimes don't need to use the modded inf.

    There are two better options.

    One, is to only download a driver that is WHQL-certified and includes the original INFs needed to install on your system, which is the equivalent of downloading a package from Dell.

    The second, is to download an lv2go driver that was originally released by Dell, but, while it may not have been added to the download page for your system, is still compatible with it.

    I think there are plenty of choices using the above two methods without requiring modded infs, though that's not a terrible option, either.
