Are fingerprints really a huge issue with the Studio XPS? I tend to be driven nuts by that type of thing; should this be a consideration for me or are they manageable?

I am a clean freak. Yes, they get everywhere, but the bag the SXPS comes in cleans it nicely. I just wipe it down after my use.

It's terrible, I have to wipe it atleast once a day. It's not just the glossy surfaces that get dirty, but the keys as well. This is the best looking laptop Ive ever had, but it's also the most high maintenance (appearance wise).

Very bad if you are the perp, useful if you are with the police :)
Seriously now, quite bad tbh. I clean my 1340 daily.

Hmm. Should I just go with something like a Vaio instead that has a metal chassis?

The machine is a fingerprint magnet but honestly just keep a microfiber cloth nearby and it's not a big deal.
