    any thoughts?

I basically got sick of waiting for the new CENTRINO 2 ones... I want it NOW :)

But of course because I got a special upgrade on the HDD which isn't on the UK/EU website for the M1330 I may have to wait at least 10 working days before I get my new baby ...

What's the 0.3 Megapixel webcam like - is it going to be really blurry for my online audience? :)

    0.3 mpix = 640x480 quality or a little better...

if u want to stream stuff, bandwidth issues are a bigger problem than quality...

well, even with the 5% discount, it was £1571 GBP - so it wasn't cheap that's for sure...

I think when you go for the best processor, memory, hdd, 3 years complete care, xps warranty, dedicated gpu and all the bells and whistles the price goes through the roof...

Nice. My new replacement is coming with almost the exact same configurations except 1GB less ram, 1/2 the hard drive space, and no TV tuner.

Why did you pay for the HD audio software?

Not bad; I got the same specs, except the 64GB SSD instead, for £1225. I didn't buy Office 2007 off Dell either.

Can you believe it - it went into shipping status on SATURDAY - after ONE DAY

Or should I be worried about getting a refurbished one that someone else rejected ?

They wont seel a refurbished laptop unless you went through the dell outlet.
