    Help, my back panel LED (XPS M1710) is not working.

    Or it doesn't seem to anyway. I tried adjusting it using Dell Quickset yet it doesn't seem to come on. The speaker and fan leds are working fine. Any tips on troubleshooting this?

    What exactly isn't working? Are you unable to adjust the brightness using the fn keys or is the screen not turning on at all?

    More information would be helpful.

    Died, already? I got it like three days ago. Btw, I meant the led's on the outside of the back panel, not the display itself. Hope that clears up the confusion.

    It can be adjusted using dell quickest->system->gaming options

    Come to think of it, it never worked while the others worked from the beginning.

    check in the bios you can set it there

    Nope, same thing. Panel back still not working. I can set the others easily though (via the bios or dell quickset)
