Hi there, I have a minor problem. The LEDs behind the audio cluster buttons is not lighting up; It is supposed to light up when I start my computer but it isn't anymore, and they just don't come on at all. The buttons still work, but I can't see what I am pressing.

I have absolutely no idea what is going on or how to fix it. If anyone can give me any advice, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks,
    Hayley

Did you recently reformat or anything? Might try reinstalling the quickset program from dell but I doubt that works if you didn't reformat or anything

Yeah, I haven't done anything to it, I just noticed yesterday that the lights didn't work, and I use those buttons so much.

I'd reinstall the quickset program anyway - you never know. If you have System Restore enabled you can open it and select "See more restore points" just to see if there were any recent system changes you may have forgotten about.

Otherwise, it could be a hardware issue. Your best bet would probably be to contact Dell support. The direct line for XPS support is 1-800-232-8544. Use that number to avoid being redirected several times.

ok, I've got some system restore points, I'll try that, and if I need to I'll call tech support. Thank for that :)
