    Hi there.

Im having problems getting the XP install to recognise my HD's when im doing a reformat on the M1730.

As im to understand, i need to make a bootable floppy with the driver on, however the M1730 does not have a floppy driver, so there is no way to get the ahci driver on, thus not being anle to get XP installed.

Anyone able to help me here?

Use nlite to slipstream the drivers into your XP CD.
Just click "integrate drivers" on the appropriate screen of nLite.

You can download the AHCI SATA drivers from Intel then slipstream them onto the XP install cd like Hep! said.
