I have a M1330, it was fine before but as time goes on this thing is getting slower and slower.. and now CPU will get stuck at 100% during which my comp. will become unuseable. The problem seems to go away around 15 mins but will come back every 1/2 hr or so. It seems to be better if i'm on battery. .. I tried turning off te mcafee update and window auto update and doesnt seem to help. Nothing special in task manager.. alot of processes ~90-100! but none is sucking up major amount of CPU resources.. anyidea? or i should reinstall window?

I suggest doing a thorough virus and malware scan. One or the other could be causing the spikes.
