Does anyone know if there is a way to send audio out from my xps 15 to my headphones while plugged into an external monitor?

I'm trying to play games on my 23" monitor (with no headphone out), but the monitor has terrible speakers so I am trying to use my nice headphones but I am having trouble getting the audio to go out to them. I've searched through many of the menus, but haven't seen anywhere to change the settings. If anyone knows of a way to do this it would be much appreciated.

    nevermind...

found the setting, you have to click on the little speaker symbol under the dell settings and it lets you choose audio out.

if a moderator wants to delete this that would be fine
