    Try it out and post how many images you were able to run smoothly (FPS > 40)
    Also post your laptop configuration to go with it...

    Doesn't this also depend on how your browser can handle javascript?

    This is an awful test of performance, it depends on the browser just as much as the computer. Secondly, I tried it and it said I was getting about 67fps or soemthing like that, very wrong. I know what 60fls looks like and it sure as hell didn't look anything like that.

    Interesting demo. In Opera I had 100 images @ 35 FPS (min) and 70 FPS max.

    Internet Explorer 8 was crawling at 3 FPS with just 36. O_O
