Am going to get an N router (recommendations-single or dual band) and my current laptop does not have N functionality.

What is the best compatible internal mini-card to get that offers best performance and will fit in the XPS 1530. Note I do not have a bluetooth card installed nor any other internal card that I am aware of other than the stock one.

Would like to get a 450mbps card even though theoretically I will never receive such speeds. I see the Dell Draft N card which I think is an Intel 1505, but perhaps there is a better/faster one. Not sure if an Intel 5300 would work??

    Is it worth the investment?

    Thanks
    Peter

The 2 best are going to be an Intel Wifi Link 4965 AGN or the 5300 AGN and make sure you get the full height WLAN versions of the 5300.
