a couple of weeks ago, a vicious virus attacked my m1210, i battled it out, trying to locate the file it was in, and delete it. It was eating up applications, chunks of my operating system, and eventually ate my wireless adapter. i have an Intel PROSet wireless and it says there are no supported wireless adapters, i cant get online to ask for anyhelp, download new programs, even try to get a new operating system. any suggestions on getting my wireless adapter back?

You can try reinstalling the wireless adapter driver : M1210 driver downloads @ support.dell.com.
However, as aan310 said, a clean installation is the only sure way to get everything back to normal; because if the Virus guard you had couldn't protect you against the virus, then there is no telling how much damage it did or whether it is completely gone or not.
