hi, Here is the story. [IMG]

    Uploaded with ImageShack.us

I was traveling back to NYC from Dominican Republic and decided to leave the laptop because it was too heavy and yes i have the backpack. well 6 months has passed and i gone back to D.R and my mom said that a cousin from italy who i dont know tried to open the laptop (as in opening it to use it not for parts) and without using the little hinge or w.e u call it ripped it open and the screws of the monitor popped out. i once screwed it back in perfectly but now the screws wont go in at all. what should i do? thx.

    Epoxy.

Some alienware notebooks had the same problem, so you might find some good ideas in one of the threads about those notebooks.

    This might help:

Remove the screws and the screen, then try putting the screws back without the hinge to see what exactly is wrong. If the housing holes went whacked, there's not much to do, but depending on the severity of the damage, you could try putting something into the holes to minimize the "play". I'd also replace the screws.
    Hope this helps.
