    High, i dont know too much about hdmi and whats for, could someone tell me plz.

    I have a lcd tv and i want my xps 1530 display to be shown in the tv, so i can watch xvid movies, can i do that or is there any other way to do it ?

    i think that mine didnt came with that cable...

    yup.

    just connect yur m1530 to a tv via hdmi and u'r done. audio and video in 1 cord =)

    The cord doesn't come in the box. It's a really common cord though and you could find one cheap online or if you are in a rush you can pick one up at Best Buy etc

    HDMI combines DVI (digital video signal) and Audio together in one lead with it's own unique connector. It's now pretty standard on Modern Video equipment.

    thx for the info, i found a nice video in youtube by searching hdmi xps

    are you sure the cable doesnt come with xps 1530, coz right now i dont have the box with all the stuff it came with.

    u can buy them for about 10 bucks or less now.

    i just got (3) 6-feet HDMI cables for $9 shipped =P
