This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Just for those of you who were actively tracking it like me, Dell has given us more information on the upgrade to SLI 8800M GTX for the 1730.

    Apparently the upgrade will be out at some point later in this month. The issue so far has been compatibility with Media Direct. Also, from the looks of it, it won't cost the ridiculous amount of $2000 USD that Dell Spare Parts has been giving.
